Emily Barker And The Red Clay Halo

On their breakthrough album 'Despite the Snow', Aussie songwriter Barker and her band combined slide, fiddle, honeyed vocals and lonely piano on countrified tales of love and redemption. They also furnished the theme tune for Kenneth Branagh's TV programme 'Wallander', and booked themselves a slot at the Olympic opening ceremony. Unsurprisingly, their shows keep getting bigger and bigger.
