Latin Music Fiesta

Horniman Museum , Forest Hill Sunday September 1 2013 12:00 - 18:00
Today is the finale of the Horniman's Fiesta Latina season and as you'd expect, they're going out in a blast of colour and carnival vibes. You can catch several concerts on the bandstand – from guitarist Guillermo Rozenthuler and Tango Clasico (12-1pm), London-based Afro-Latin band Conjunto Sabroso (2-3pm) and Los Chinches, an energetic new breed Latin band who delve into both the psychedelic styles of Peruvian cumbia and the punk and ska sounds of '70s London (4-5.30pm). Other music performances in the Horniman gardens come from maracatu group Maracatudo Mafua and '60s Latin America/Africa-influenced Voodoo Love Orchestra.
