Mike Gibbs Celebration

A favourite composer of Gary Burton and Stan Getz, Rhodesian-born Gibbs favours an expansive brand of rock and funk-edged jazz which owes much to Gil Evans. He also co-wrote the rather wonderful music for 'The Goodies' with Bill Oddie… Here he performs two sets, the first devoted to Gil Evans arrangements and the second to new music for his upcoming Whirlwind Records release.
