Enfolded within Camden Market, this building may have been a horse hospital at one point in its lifetime, but it certainly ain't an animal refuge any more. The cobbled floors remain, as do the stables, but they've been spruced up and turned into booths. The roof terrace has also been revamped with bright colours and twee bunting.
The main space is usually decked with artwork on the walls and also has a stage for live bands. There's a cabaret room on the other side of the venue and, of course, a bar serving up the usual tipples.
Club nights here usually feature indie-electro, synth-pop, R&B, hip hop and funk.
Fashioned from a Grade II-listed building, Proud Camden transformed from its beginnings as a horse hospital into a distinctive piece of history.
Proud Camden takes the form of a gallery space and bar by day. Night sees the space become the ultimate venue for cutting edge live music and a hectic club after dark.
Our original horse stables provide private spaces designed for you and your friends. With karaoke, dance poles and TVs, these quirky spaces can be used as chill out space from the party in the gig room or used to create your own private party.

Extremely disappointed with what happened on New Years Eve. We bought two tickets for the new years eve party between 1am - 5am.
We showed our tickets and they did not care and were not concerned that we had tickets to enter the club. The security guards laughed at us as if we were ignorant and said we should complain to the manager who did not show up despite us asking to speak to the manager around at the time. The fact that we were not allowed into the party at 1.45am when we had previously purchased tickets ruined our New Years Eve. At no point when purchasing the tickets were we informed that we had to arrive by 1am to be allowed into the party.
After sending several emails to them still did not answer! No party and no money!
I have stopped going to this venue
Let me down once and life is too short to go back when Camden is packed with great alternatives
It's relatively small, having just two small dance floors. It's fun to go to once or twice, but it's always packed and crammed full of people with no space to dance. I don't recommend booking a stable either.
