The Crimea

One of the last bands to get the seal of approval from John Peel, The Crimea keep on cranking out croaky-voiced alt rock epics: they’re launching their third album tonight. It’s likely to be the same mixture of sparkling Americana, twisted psychedelia and rootsy rock as ever – but will it have any song titles as good as the band’s breakthrough track, ‘Lottery Winners on Acid’?
