Wayne Shorter Quartet + Phronesis

Legendary saxophonist Shorter is still going strong at 77 – he's best known for work from his classic Blue Note albums and his much lauded work with Miles Davis and Weather Report. After a spell in the musical wilderness, he's hit incredible form of late with his stunning quartet of virtuosos. This group's almost telepathic rapport borders on spiritual, especially when Shorter hits that one special note on his soprano. Impressive UK-based bass/piano-led trio Phronesis support.
