If you’re going vegan for January, it may be around now, as you tremble through your two-day hangover, that you’re tempted to just sack it all off and order a pizza. Stay strong – here’s something to look forward to. This weekend, Brick Lane community café The Canvas is giving away free vegan cake to every customer.
The Canvas is going 100 percent vegan for January, and it’s running a series of events to help those who have resolved to go animal-free but are ‘struggling’ – including a cookery class and a ‘clinic’ where you can discuss your vegan probs. The biggest incentive for us is definitely that free cake, though.
Every customer at The Canvas will be offered free cake this weekend (January 6-7).
