The English Concert

The tenor Ian Bostridge, oboist Katharina Spreckelsen and the English Concert, directed from the harpischord by Harry Bicket, perform Scarlatti's Sinfonia 'Clori, Dorino e Amore'; Sinfonia in C; Vivaldi's Concerto in D minor for oboe, RV454; Scarlatti's Cantata: 'Dall'oscura magion dell'arsa Dite' from 'L'Orfeo'; Venturini's Sonata No 9 in G minor; and Handel's Silete venti, HWV242.
