[title]
The namesake ‘black pig’ (Ibérico pork to you and me) naturally plays a starring role on the menu at this atmospheric tapas joint – a one-time pop-up that has put down permanent roots in Stoke Newington. The chef rustles up earthy dishes from his native Extremadura – not just the famous full-breed free-range porker (served grilled on a bed of patatas panaderas), but also morcilla lollipops (the best thing on the menu), croquetas, black rice with calamari and slow-cooked milk-fed lamb. Just add candlelight, flamenco music and short, sharp list of authentic Spanish booze.
