Burger and Lobster is one of my staple go-tos when I want a quick, but delicious meal. Obviously only worth it if you're a lobster fan, otherwise it makes it a rather pricey burger (especially given the close proximity to Byron). Slightly annoying that the price has recently undergone a significant hike, but £26 for a decent sized whole steamed lobster is still a bargain. It's delicious, as are the fries, salad and garlic butter. This branch lacks in atmosphere, but makes up for it with the quick service and tasty grub. Perfect place to line your stomach before bar hopping around Farringdon

After much hype I finally got to visit Burger and Lobster.I wasn't entirely impressed to be honest. We arrived and were informed that there was a 20-30 minute wait, which is fine of course. We went over to the bar and had a few drinks whilst waiting. One person from our group was due to join us shortly- I did let the waitress know and she said that was fine as long as our friend arrives before we are seated. After about 35/40 minutes I asked how long the wait would be, I was informed that there is a 30 minute wait. I had then asked about the extension to the wait, the waitress rudely told me that the wait started from when the last person arrived. We were not impressed by her bluntness or the fact that she had gone back on what she had previously told us.

Eventually we got to our table. The waiter greeted us and pretty much walked away. Basically as far as service goes there wasn't any! The food was pretty average, I had the lobster with lemon and garlic butter and fries. The lobster was okay and the fries not so great. The food is not worth the cost at all.. If you are looking for a great tasting lobster with a nice texture this is not the place to visit, it's more of an okay lobster at this joint.

A few spots I would recommend for lobster that is delirious are The Ivy, Smack lobster roll, Steak and Lobster (Bloomsbury and Warren St. venue is the one I visited). These places offer a better service and a better tasting lobster. Enjoy!
