This Herne Hill branch is the first of what is now a chain of three delis and cafés operating under the Mimosa banner. They offer a catering service, too. It's heavily influenced by France in style and substance, and has been at this Half Moon Lane address for more than 20 years.
The majority of the deli items and the produce they use is sourced from France, though they also source from other European countries. Dishes on the lunch menu range from sandwiches (grilled chicken with avocado, roast tomato and garlic mayo, for example) and Tuscan tuna and butterbean salads to soups, quiches and 'savoury specials' such as Toulouse sausage rolls, beef arancini or Moroccan chicken.
