If you come here you must work around Kingdom street and be rushing to get some lunch before your next meeting.
I stumbled upon Poncho 8 and I was taken back by the amount of people queuing. Is this captive market or truly amazing food?
I ordered a salad box with a bit of rice, I choose spicy chicken as my protein and paid the extra £1 for guacamole.
When I get back to the office to eat it, I compared my salad box to my colleagues and felt really hard done by. Their boxes were brimming with all extra bits and mine looked a bit like a deflated rubber chicken that had been overcooked.
Moral of the story is if you want value for money you have to ask for the extras like more lettuce, a bit of roast vegetables, more lettuce at the end, a few tortilla chips etc. I wont bother, I cant be bothered with a place who makes it so difficult to get a decent meal out of them.
