A beautifully decorated, intimate Indian restaurant in The Rubens Hotel. The set, three-course menu may only have a handful of options to choose from, but it's packed full of flavour. Sharing platters of samosas, papadums, chutney, lime pickle and raita are laid out to start you off. Followed by a curry, basmati rice and vegetables for the main – choose from traditional Natal lamb, butter chiken, tamarind fish, prawn or veggie curries. Finally finishing things off sweetly with kulfi ice cream, papaya with sorbet, cheesecake or lemon tart. To wash it down, try one of the Indian beers (Kingfisher and Cobra) or the wine, which comes from the restaurant's vineyard in South Africa.
