    Ballaké Sissoko is one of Mali’s greatest exponents of the kora, joining forces in an unlikely pairing with Vincent Ségal, a French cellist best-known for his work in trip-hop and resulting in an elegant and soulful music.

    Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Cadogan Hall: Friday July 28 and Saturday July 29

    The joyous and uplifting musical voices of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, referred to by Nelson Mandela as ‘South Africa’s cultural ambassadors’ marry the intricate rhythms and harmonies of their Zulu traditions to the sounds and sentiments of gospel music.
