    The heat's rising in London, but we want to crank it up a few degrees. Assenheims Bar and Grill specialises in unique dishes and flavours from all over South America. Offering an almost dizzy-inducing menu of dishes, you can feast on an array of tongue-tingling delights that'll make you want to visit again and again. Their speciality? Grilled marinated chicken served with a house ‘green’ sauce made from coriander, spices and cold-pressed rapeseed oil, a firm favourite in the continent. Experience this sumptuous dish for yourself, and much more, with your pick of two or three courses from their meaty menu, showcasing some of Latin America’s finest dishes and ingredients.

    Three llama burgers topped with chorizo and guacamole in a sundried tomato roll

    Marinated chicken croquetas – potato croquetas filled - served with bravas sauce and garlic aioli

    South American root vegetable chips (similar to potato) dusted with paprika, served with a spicy bravas sauce and garlic aioli

    Scallop ceviche
    lime, coriander and chilli cured scallops served on crisp maize discs with sweetcorn puree

    grilled and filled with a combination of grilled vegetables and roasted butternut squash puree

    2 signature boneless grilled chicken thighs - Served with fried plantain, spring onion rice, green sauce and pico do gallo

    Seafood cazuela
    Latin American mixed seafood chowder made with tomato, coconut milk and cream. Served with rice and plantain

    Spatchcock poussin
    In a Latin American marinade, served with yucca chips, toasted sweetcorn salsa and charred asparagus

    Latin lamb chops
    Marinated and charred lamb chops served with Yucca chips, mint chimichurri, roasted baby sweetcorn and charred asparagus

    Spiced sea bass
    served with crushed citrus potatoes with capers and grilled baby fennel

    Quinoa risotto
    Chilean recipe with vegetables, manchego cheese, parsley and crispy fried cassava

    Bandeja paisa
    Slow braised short rib of beef, potato and sweetcorn puree, chorizo, white rice and fried egg


    Rice pudding
    Creamy vanilla and cinnamon, toasted nuts, granola and dried fruits

    Caramalised sweet plantain
    With granola, toasted coconut, almond, lime, vanilla ice cream

    White chocolate cheesecake
    Mango and passion fruit salsa, raspberry coulis, granola crumb

    Sweet empanada
    Dark chocolate filled sweet maize parcel, rum, caramel banana and vanilla ice-cream

    Columbian figs 
    Fresh figs, Colombian cheese, Dulce de leche and sea salt
