A community of vintage traders and artisan food sellers have transformed this old arcade. Though very popular with locals and visitors alike the covered walkways always have a sense of calm about them, so you can browse beautiful homewares, tempting produce and rails of colourful clothing in peace. Independent coffee shops and the original outpost of Honest Burger are on hand to help the hungry.

I haven't been to Brixton Village much since moving to Westminster but it's still one of my favourite places to visit for a chilled-out afternoon on the weekend. I love the multicultural vibe that is so unique to London as well as the variety of restaurants and bars. My favourite place to eat is Brixton Grill where you can get very generous portions of meat at a bargain price - their sangria is also one of my favourites!
Brixton deserves an award from the London chamber of commerce, for being the most versatile creative and multicultural location to enjoy international cuisines, fashions and at unbeatable prices-WELL DONE TO ALL! Margaret
