Albert Dohmen (Simone, a merchant). Richard Strauss's 'Die Frau ohne Schatten' (excerpts); and Alexander von Zemlinsky's 'A Florentine Tragedy' (an opera in one act based on the play by Oscar Wilde. Performed in German with English surtitles). Note: at 6.15pm, a free pre-concert talk in RFH. A discussion on the music of Zemlinsky with David Trendell, college organist and senior lecturer in music at King's College London.)
