A new play reflecting on England from the team behind 'King Charles III'
With the EU referendum well over a year old, the dramas assessing British identity are starting to roll in. The description for the Almeida's latest is rather cryptic – 'in the ruins of a garden in rural England, in a house which was once home, one woman searches for seeds of hope' – but in a sense all you really need to know about 'Albion' that it reunites writer Mike Bartlett and director Rupert Goold, the dreamteam behind the landmark 'King Charles III'. Victoria Hamilton – who starred in Bartlett's hit TV show 'Doctor Foster' – plays the leads.
