London's fringe theatre scene is vibrant but obviously production values are far lower than in the bigger theatres and quality varies.

This means that tickets are very cheap: expect to pay an average of £12, with concessions available at every venue. Large ensemble productions will occasionally charge more then £15 a ticket.
