A pair of clowns in a politically unstable democracy find their show increasingly compromised as the country slides into autocracy in this political show from New Diorama regulars Rhum + Clay. ‘Project Dictator’ is performed by company co-artistic directors Matt Wells and Julian Spooner, who created the show in collaboration with anonymous artists from Syria, Venezuela, Brazil, Hungary and Azerbaijan, who have real experience of making art under authoritarian regimes. As with the rest of the 2022 New Diorama season, there will be free pizza after the show.
