Where the Wild Things Are/Higglety Pigglety Pop!

Oliver Knussen's children's operas 'Where the Wild Things Are' (45mins) and Higglety Pigglety Pop! (1hr) are performed in a staged multimedia concert by Britten Sinfonia under Ryan Wigglesworth, with libretti and original drawings by Maurice Sendak. It is directed by Netia Jones, whose specially commissioned multimedia staging sees singers, orchestra and projections come together in a joyous celebration of these fun, spontaneous and utterly unreal operatic gems.
