Pop-up speakeasy The Candlelight Club will be paying tribute to the birthplace of jazz at this Prohibition-era Mardi Gras party. The Candid Jug Orange band will be regaling guests with traditional Louisiana tunes and there’ll be cabaret from some guy called Champagne Charlie, with fortune-telling from a Voodoo seer in the basement. Classic New Orleans cocktails and snacks will provide the evening’s fuel. Dress code: Jazz Age glam, with plenty greens, golds and purples.
