Feathers and Flight

Discover how the makers of Harry Potter brought feathered creatures to life on screen. Meet the owly actors that played Hedwig, Pidwidgeon and Errol and see demonstrations by the crows and ravens that appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Hair and feather supervisor Val Jones will demonstration of the techniques that made winged wonders such as Buckbeak and Fawkes appear so real on screen. The Great Hall will be decorated, as it was for the owl post delivery scenes, with specially made super light broomsticks which were designed to be carried by owls on display. All activities are included in the ticket price.
