Time Out says

This 100-mile ride is one of four cycling events that make up the Prudential RideLondon 2014. Cyclists will begin the challenge at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park then travel through the capital and onto Surrey's countryside roads, through the Surry Hills before finishing on The Mall. If you missed out on the ballot (80,000 people registered for 24,000 places) it's not too late to take part. Ace Arica, a charity who work towards empowering children and their communities to improve and sustain their own health, wellbeing and development, have places on their team for cyclists keen to get involved. Participants will be seeded by ability and fitness with the first waves beginning at 6am. This ride is for amateur cyclists; participants will be able to watch 150 of the world's top athletes competing along the same route in another of the festival's events the RideLondon-Surrey Classic.
