Along with its sister event in Bishops Park, this family-friendly night of fireworks and fun offers a children's display at 7.15pm before the main event at 8pm, which will be choreographed to music. A funfair and food stalls will keep everybody happy between. Tickets will be available to purchase through the Lyric Theatre website or the box office until 4pm on the day of the event.

Absolutely waste of my money and time. We were surrounded by trees and could only see parts of the firework. From what I been told, the view was better from outside the park, so why the hell did I pay £8 each for a crap view, expensive food and total waste of my time. Also, a child pays £8 at the gate.. Never going there again.. Ealing firework was 100% better.

Went last year and enjoyed it. It was a good display and lasted for quite a while - I was surprised. Arrive in good time as it is busy, but they do warn you about this so if you are denied entry because you arrive 5 minutes before the main event then you have nobody else to blame but yourself!. Definitely not as good as the Battersea event but for half the price and somewhere local to watch the fireworks I'd recommend, I'm going again this year!

Long queue to collect tickets at Lyric. Would have been helpful to have known which park entrances were open in advance rather than walking miles. Display itself was good but no atmosphere. Inane ramblings of MC were exceptionally irritating and made me want to leave early. The fair was disorganised and would benefit from a visit from H & S.

Absolutely awful. Wasn't allowed to enter because they stop letting people in at 8.00pm. There's no rational reason for this, apparently it's "council's orders". Security guards were rude, probably depressed about having such crap jobs. It's pretty stupid to turn away paying customers who are willing to pay £8.00 entrance fee. Hammersmith council clearly has no concept of how to make money, no wonder the borough is in such a state. Bunch of idiots, right from the top who organise the event to the bottom who have such a simple job of securing the park but can't even do that right.

Yes, you can buy in advance from the Lyric Theatre. Here's the blurb:

Tickets will be able to be purchased in advance for a 25 per cent saving - £6 per person via the Lyric Theatre box office www.lyric.co.uk (opens new window) or on 020 8741 6850. Box office opens on October 1.

it was shit and people should know that the doors close at 7;45 because we were unable to get it! on top of that the security people were complete arseholes!

Enjoyed it last year.. Tho felt the music itself and the sync of music to fireworks could have been better.

Sure will bee .... but no one can buy ticket tickets as web doesn't exist ... someone should fix it !!!!!!!!!
