See a book launch with a difference for the 'The Girl Guide', an illustrated young person's bible filled with animated advice from record breaking hula hoop star Marawa Ibrahim. Through the playful designs and photo illustrations of Sinem Erkas, Marawa offers advice on coping with puberty, and how to nuture a positive body image.
Along with the usual chatter and book signings, the launch will have a hula hoop performance from Marawa’s Majorettes and a chance to see the Geffrye Museum's Teenage Bedrooms exhibition.
