An exhibition of portrait miniatures dating from 1870 to 1970, curated by specialist Emma Rutherford. Marking the launch of a book 'A Dictionary of Miniature Painters 1870-1970', the show examines the revival of interest in miniature painting during the period, the genre having experienced a dip in popularity on the invention of photography. Artists featured include Charles James Turrell and Gertrude Massey; subjects range from portraits of Edwardian society to contemporary figures.
