The brewing industry can feel a bit like a sausage-fest at times. But there are loads of great women brewing up a storm too, which is why female-run Maida Vale bottle shop Real Drinks are running a launching a series of evening tastings dedicated to lady brewers on International Women’s Day this year. Hosted by Real Drinks Technical Director, and Master Brewer, Jenna Dunseath, you’ll learn about the long history women have in the world of beer, gain some insights into the landscape when it comes to female brewers today and, of course, have a chance to neck some brilliant beers from female brewers, or breweries that champion women. Tickets to the intimate evening include a complimentary welcome drink from the tap room’s all-woman takeover, five generous tasting serves of various styles of beer, and 10% off their IWD range on the night.
