Terms and Conditions: Win a yacht trip for two in the Mediterranean

COMPETITION RULES

WHAT’s THE PRIZE?

The prize is a trip for two on a MedSailors Superior Yacht on any of the trips during the 2024 season. All of the MedSailors Superior Yacht trips are for 7 days and breakfast and lunch is included every day. The prize will also include a local payment of €120 per person. 

This prize is referred to as the Prize Package in these rules.

👉  There are a few additional conditions from the Prize Provider which apply to this Competition and Prize Package:

- The winner needs to purchase flights to and from the sailing destination.

-Additional expenses such as travel costs, accommodation, spending money, meals, beverages, insurance, and all other ancillary costs are not included.

-Prize Package must be redeemed for a trip for two during the 2024 sailing season which is from the 7th June 2024 to 21st September 2024.

-Should the winner decide to book a group or whole yacht booking, the winner will be able to nominate up to two free places on the group booking (payment for those two places will be required).

-All Entrants need to be aged between 20-40 years of age to enter the Competition and  be eligible for the Prize Package.

WHEN CAN I ENTER THE COMPETITION?

Start Date: 12:15 am on 19 Jan 2024

End Date: 11:45 pm on 19 Feb 2024

HOW DO I ENTER?

Step 1: Fill out your details in the entry form found at insert entry form URL. 

Step 2: That’s it! Just make sure you submit the form before the End Date on 18 Feb 2024.

WHO CAN ENTER?

The Competition is open to all UK residents aged between 20 - 40 years of age, except employees, its agents, contractors and family members of Time Out and the Prize Provider.  The winner must be aged between 20 - 40 years of age, otherwise you will not be eligible for the Prize Package. You can only enter once - multiple entries will not be accepted. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

After you submit your entry, you will be entered into a computer-generated ballot, from which a winner will be selected at random. The winner will be notified by Time Out by email within 5 days of the End Date. If you are a winner, you agree to participate in publicity which may include having your photograph taken for promotional and press purposes. 

OTHER RULES

1. Time Out reserves the right to exclude any entry from the Competition at any time if it has a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the rules. 
2. All entries must be submitted by the original writer of the entry. 
3. All entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified. 
4. The winner will be notified by Time Out using the contact information submitted in the winner’s entry. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 72 hours of notification will be disqualified, in which case the winner forfeits their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected at random as an alternative winner. 
5. The Prize Package will be provided by the Prize Provider and is subject to their terms and conditions indicated at the top of these rules. 
6. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. 
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value. 
8. Time Out accepts no responsibility if the Prize Provider refuses to issue the prize.
9. The names of the winner may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR or by email to competitions@timeout.com. The request must be submitted within 1 calendar month after the End Date.
10. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition. 
11. Any winners’ details shared by Time Out or the Prize Provider will be limited to first name and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. 
12. Copyright in all entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their entry. This includes sharing the entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material. 
13. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage however caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
14. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and/or the Prize Provider from complying with these rules, neither Time Out or the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control. 
15. This Competition and these rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 
16. The Competition promoter is Time Out England Limited 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR and all references to Time Out means Time Out England Limited. Time Out has the right to licence any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees.
