The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the LA aqueducts have just hit the century mile mark, so what better way to celebrate than by throwing a joint birthday party? Rob Reynolds will be exhibiting ten new paintings (in watercolor – because, get it?) which illustrate the significance of the LA aqueduct. And unless you prefer hauling a bucket over to the local creek for your bath water, it’s worth being reminded that LA’s H20 actually comes from somewhere else. Make sure to check out the rest of NHM as well, which has been revamped with new nature gardens, a nature lab, the Otis Booth Pavilion (with a 63-foot fin whale skeleton!), a new store and grill. So enjoy the festivities and snag a free water bottle to stay hydrated.
