Mark Danielewski (House of Leaves) will read and discuss The Fifty Year Sword, on the day of its long-awaited hardcover release. First published in 2005 as a large-size, limited edition novella, The Fifty Year Sword tells of a night in East Texas, when a seamstress and her five orphan charges listen to a storyteller's compelling tale of vengeance and find themselves riveted by the long black box he sets before them. Danielewski's hypnotic ghost story, which enjoyed a sold-out theatrical retelling on Halloween 2010 at REDCAT, is back again at REDCAT this Halloween by popular demand.
