Museum of Latin American Art Cinco de Mayo Festival

For a classier Cinco De Mayo celebration than the usual fare, consider visiting the Museum of Latin American Art this weekend. The museum has cleverly split its events into an adult-only Saturday evening and family-friendly Sunday. On Saturday, expect a ticketed craft beer tasting from L.A.-based Golden Road Brewery and several Baja California breweries. The boozing will be accompanied by mariachi bands and Mexican hors d'oeuvres. On free-admission Sunday there will be craft vendors, face painting, children’s story time, traditional dances, museum tours and grub from an El Burger Luchador food truck.
