Take a crash course in B-movie horror to prepare for this Halloween. For the ninth year running, American Cinematheque will host a nightlong marathon of seven '70s and '80s movies played back-to-back, ranging from campy guilty pleasures to iconic favorites. This year's lineup consists of Stephen King's Creepshow, Gargoyles, Kurt Russell classic The Thing, The Night of a Thousand Cats, The Deadly Spawn, Basket Case and Zombie Holocaust. The super-reasonable price ($20 for 6 movies?) even includes all-night snacks, energy drinks and coffee so you won't doze off.
