One of the many beautiful things about this Hollywood Hills fixture is that it's barely changed over the decades. The hotel still attracts the brazen and the beautiful (everyone from Led Zeppelin to Lindsay Lohan has stayed here; John Belushi OD-ed in bungalow 3); it still offers a quintessentially glamorous LA experience; and it still promises its guests absolute discretion.

I don't mean to be peeky here, but hey, if you pay $25 for a cheeseburger and you're sitting at the table of a 'staple' in town, well...you don't expect your table to be a vinyl shabby thing where the legs have different sizes so you feel like you're in the middle of a seance, in the first place.
The staff was uber kind and accommodating, but this doesn't make up for a super pretentious wine list where most bottles are out of stock...
The manager didn't take the pleasure to show up to let us know, they just simply let us have our food without bothering about the wine.
So I guess this place should stay a celebrity spotting location, a chic hangout, but it definitely doesn't stand up for its name when it comes to the restaurant part
