June is LGBTQ Pride month and we think that is a pretty good reason to party. In addition to the festivities in our official LA Pride 2017 guide, there are plenty of unofficial parties happening all across the region. From raging dance parties at the best clubs in Hollywood to events organized by the folks to know in L.A.'s queer women scene, there's something for every taste and type at these Pride parties. Love is love!

FLAUNT: Pride Edition

Splash around at the sky-high pool of the W Hotel in Hollywood, while enjoying the sounds of performances by Little Boots, Glovibes and Noir D Casa. This stylish affair lasts all afternoon, so be sure to bring the sunscreen!

MATR⚢ARCHY

Kick off Pride weekend a little early with the first party of what will become a new weekly event each Thursday, backed by a cadre of the biggest promoters in local lesbian circles, including Queertainment and sponsored by the organizers of Dinah Shore weekend. MATR⚢ARCHY bills itself as a feminist lesiban and queer event, which means that in addition to dancing and partying, you'll find stations for protest sign making, storytelling and even an interactive debate wall.

Milk Milk Lemonade Pride Kick-Off

One of our favorite queer party promoters, Milk Milk Lemonade, is going all out for this Pride Week rager. They're taking all the rooms and levels of Silver Lake institution Los Globos for an indoor-outdoor, everything-everywhere event. Expect live music, DJs, face painting, a photo booth and glitter on everything.

It Gets Better Poolside Pride Celebration

This fundraiser for the beloved It Gets Better Project combines a fun party with a great cause. Hosted by Gigi Gorgeous and featuring tunes selected by DJ Brennen Schloo, all of the proceeds from this sunny pool party go to the organization's work to improve the lives of LGBTQ youth. Soak up some rays and sip a few poolside cocktails while showing the world that it can, in fact, get better.

Swing by this free, all ages event to catch a live performance by rapper LE1F and see work from 11 different photographers, which will be up for silent auction to raise money for GLSEN, an organization that advocates for LGBTQ-inclusive education. Sip on some free Jarritos, apply a Pride-themed temporary tattoo and snap a selfie in the Fuji Instax photobooth.

Trans Pride L.A.

Celebrating 19 years in 2017, Trans Pride L.A. is one of the largest and oldest trans celebrations in the country. Activities at the event include workshops on topics including self-care, activist organizing, self-defense and legal name changes. More than 30 different organizations offering resources and services for the trans community will be in attendance. In the evening, stick around for a variety show, comedy and music.

Bonkerz! Gay Pride with Dirty Sanchez and Candis Cayne

As the name implies, this party at Precinct DTLA is likely to get a little bonkers. From DJs aplenty to pop-up shops from a variety of vendors to puppets, drag queens, go-go dancers and much more, come prepared for a wild night. Just be prepared for the 'rolling blackouts' when things go dark and all bets are off.

BUMP: L.A. Pride Weekend

This monthly night of 90's house and dance music curated by DJ Steve Cunningham takes on a special flavor during Pride Weekend. Leave everything on the dancefloor of Silver Lake's Akbar, one of our favorite queer-friendly nightlife spots.

Akbar, 4356 Sunset Blvd; June 9 at 10pm
