Screamin' Jay Hawkins Halloween Tribute Show

Celebrate original shock rocker Screamin' Jay Hawkins (you remember his little ditty, "I Put A Spell On You") with a night of covers by some of LA's best up-and-coming artists—including Tommy Santee Klaws, RT n' the 44s and Speedbuggy USA—and hosted by the punk legend Germs drummer Don Bolles, who makes us weak in the knees. The Victorian house that is HM157 will be decked out in Halloween duds (including the obligatory coffin and toilet onstage, in honor of Hawkins), and you should be too. Nosh on "cow fingers," "alligator wine" and "mosquito pie" to fuel up so that you can dance late into the night.
