Yip Deceiver + Electric Six

Born and bred Georgians and ex-Of Montreal men Davey Pierce and Nicolas ’Dobby’ Dobbratz make up what is now electropop duo, Yip Deceiver. The tag-team's debut album Medallius dropped last year, bringing electro-'80s-funk-boogie-psych-pop to listeners looking to cut a seriously multi-genre rug. This May, you'll find them at The Roxy Theater, joined by Dick Valentine and his gang of entertaining Detroit disco-rockers, no doubt blasting out plenty of tracks from their 2003 debut Fire, in addition to selections from their balls-out 2013 release, Mustang.
