Exclusively for National Ice Cream Day (rejoice, that’s a thing), Sweet Rose Creamery is swirling up booze-infused cones with the help of Eat Your Drink’s mixologist, Matthew Biancaniello. In an effort to raise awareness for sustainability, the duo is concocting flavors inspired by A Sustainable Kitchen’s Ocean vs. Plastic theme. Think “Kombu” with nigori sake and “Dashi sherbet” with Katsuobushi, kombu dashi and whiskey. Stop by Sweet Rose Creamery’s mid-city location from 4-7pm for an afternoon cone of drink/ice cream hybrids.
