The Wooster Group: Cry, Trojans!

The Wooster Group, one of the foremost contemporary theater ensembles in the world, premieres a new work at REDCAT called "Cry, Trojans!" The play, centered around the Trojan War, was originally staged for the 2012 London Olympics as a co-production with the Royal Shakespeare Company. In that production, the RSC played the Greeks and the Wooster Group company played the Trojans. This is a recasting of the same play, but this time, it's just about the Trojans—and they're reimagined to be a fictional tribe of early Americans.
