New Year's doesn't get much more LA than this: Spend the 31st dining at BevHills' Crustacean while being serenaded by quirky actor Jeff Goldblum. The multitalented Goldblum seems to have a knack for popping up in unexpected places—like when he performed a comedic act on the piano outside of 2011's Coachella for a Funny or Die sketch. His two New Year's Eve sets promise more of the same humorous banter with a mix of jazz. The night's events start at 5pm, with an a la carte dinner, but if you want to witness the show come for the second seating at 9pm, which features a four-course prix fixe menu and champagne toast at midnight. Seating on the main floor is a hefty $250 per person, while balcony section seats are available for $185. Seating is limited, so we recommend an early RSVP (call Liz Dean, 310-205-8990, ext. 202).
