Time Out says

Join the Paley Center and WE TV for a media-centric conversation that feminist crime drama fiends cannot afford to miss. This public panel will focus on the forty-year old hour-long drama, Police Woman, a show that consistenly hit No. 1 in weekly ratings and was the first primetime show in American TV history to star a strong female lead. Police Women laid the groundwork for dozens of small screen female protagonists to come, including the leads of Murder She Wrote, Alias, Bones and WE TV's first scripted series, The Divide, to premier this July. Explore the evolution of the crime drama heroine before a prestigious panel of TV trailblazers, including Police Woman star Angie Dickinson, Emily Deschanel (Bones), Marg Helgenberger (CSI) and S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order). The event is open to the public, and tickets run $25.
