In the pantheon of natural phenomenona capable of shaking we Angelenos from our reliable tranquility, none are as mysterious as the Santa Ana winds. Resident authors and musicians have immortalized the dry winds' mercurial impact, as have the wildfires they fan and trees they down each fall.
