Authors Fair At Nafc Library says
Join us for our 2nd annual Authors Fair at the library on Wednesday, September 9th. Meet local authors and hear about their newest projects! Refreshments will be provided.

Authors include:

• David Barksdale
Floyd County Historian and president of the Floyd County Historical Society. He has written several hundred house and building histories, along with helping to compile Floyd County: The Early Years.

• Terry Cummins
He ran his first marathon at age 63, climbed his first mountain (20,000 feet) on his 64th birthday, published his first of over 720 articles at age 66 and published his first of six books at age 69, with another underway.

• David Dominé
From Victorian folklore to recipes with bourbon, Kentucky spirits often come alive in the narratives of David Dominé, an author whose numerous books showcase the rich cultural heritage of his adopted state.

• Michael L. Jones
An award-winning journalist whose written works include Second-Hand Stories: 15 Portraits of Louisville and Louisville Jug Music, which celebrates a form of pre-World War II folk music that was created in Louisville.

• Becky Kelley
Becky Kelley’s work has been featured in many magazines, newspapers, and anthologies. She has a self-published children’s book called A Tail of Christmas. Her first non-fiction book, Wineing Your Way Across Kentucky, was published in April of 2015.

• Chris Kokoski
Chris Kokoski is a professional speaker, trainer, and author. His publications include articles, training materials, nonfiction books, and the novels Dark Halo and Past Lives.

• Dale Moss
Dale Moss wrote 3,500 columns over the course of 25 years as Indiana columnist for The Courier-Journal. A sampling of his work is published in his book Mosswords. Dale worked for the Louisville newspapers for 37 years.

• Carol Preflatish
Carol Preflatish knew at an early age that she loved to write. She published her first romantic suspense novel in 2009 and now has five novels out. Always loving a good mystery, she’s constantly thinking up ideas for future books.

• Dr. Gerald Ruth
Dr. Ruth is a Professor of Geosciences at Indiana University Southeast where he has taught since 1965. His work has been published in journals and he has contributed to books. In 2012, he released Earth Verses Space, a book that combines poetry and the sciences.

• CC Thomas
An award-winning writer and poet whose works have appeared in over 40 journals worldwide. CC Thomas’ books include Lost Stories of the Earth, Southern Indiana Ghost Hunters Chronicles, and Fairy Tale High: The Curse of Blue Raine, among others.

• Atty Eve
Local Author Atty Eve will be the author representing the Kentuckiana Authors Group. Her books include "My Beautiful Suicide" and "Controlling Cosette". This authors group has members from Louisville, Clark County, Floyd County, and surrounding areas.
