We’re half inclined to serve this one in a cardboard bucket!

How do you make a Finga Lickn’ Good beer? Go to Portland of course! Last Thanksgiving we sent Amelia, our favorite red head(ed) brewer, to Oregon to brew just that. She teamed up with her old pals from Hopworks, Ben Love and Van Havig, who now own Gigantic Brewing Company, to make a beer with a recipe as delicious as the Colonels’.

But don't worry this beer wasn’t made with 11 secret herbs and spices. Instead, it's made with regional ingredients from Kentucky and Oregon. We started with Kentucky’s indigenous style, the Kentucky Common, added Belgian crystal malt to brighten it up, and then kettle soured it. To “Oreginian-ize” the beer we aged it in Oregon's finest Pinot wine barrels. The result is a sour ale that’s, you guessed it, Finga Lickn’ Good.

The label for this beer is almost as unique as the beer. It features Ben, Van, and Amelia riding disembodied fingers because why wouldn’t they be? Jay Howell, notably known for his characters on Bob's Burgers, designed the label.

To celebrate this special collaboration we're having a bottle party June 22 at our Main Street location. This beer is the only Gigantic Brewing Company brew in Kentucky and is only available here and in Oregon. So, stop by, pick up a bottle, eat some hot chicken, and watch Bob’s Burgers.
