Jefferson County Chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth says
Our democracy works best when all people have access to good information and are able to participate in decisions affecting their lives and communities. Unfortunately, less than 35% of registered Jefferson County voters reached the polls for the November 2015 election.

The purpose of the Open Mic Debate Series is to improve voter turnout in Metro Council Districts 2, 4, and 6 by registering, educating and empowering voters in the May 2016 primary election.

Join Jefferson County Chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, Louisville Urban League Young Professionals, Louisville Black Lawyers Association, Forward Radio, Irish Hill Neighborhood Association, Smoketown Neighborhood Association, 100 Block of Ormsby Assoication, Phoneix Hill Neighborhood Association, HOPE BY HOPE, Zones of Hope, University of Louisville Malcolm X Debate Team for the Metro Council District 4 & 6 Open Mic Debate Series.
