The event creator says
This collection of new plays, developed by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the One Minute Play Festival, created and curated by artists and theatres across the nation, explores the realities of race relations in America, our collective relationship with law enforcment, and the national wound of racism. The plays will be read onstage by University of Louisville Theatre Department Alumni, current students and members of the Louisville community including law enforcement and local activists. A talk-back will immediately follow both readings. This event is two nights so the community can fully take part. The play will be read on October 21st and the 22nd 8-10:30 PM in Bingham Humanities Room 100 Hassold Theatre. There is NO CHARGE for this event. It is FREE. Start the conversation on race.
