On December 26 2015, a group of Louisville musical luminaries will occupy the stage at Headliners Music Hall for a concert featuring the music of Beck and Justin Timberlake.

The concert will be a benefit for Strive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts and wellness organization that formed in Louisville earlier this year, and is being organized by Ray Rizzo of Motherlodge Live Arts Exchange and Cheyenne Mize and Nina Rodahaffer, the founders of Strive.

Songs will be sung by some of the city’s most celebrated vocalists, including Peter Searcy (Squirrel Bait, Big Wheel, Starbilly), Carly Johnson, Mauriece Hamilton (Big Diggity), Scott Carney (Wax Fang), Lacey Guthrie (Twin Limb), Cheyenne Mize, Tyrone Cotton, Drew Miller (Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Curio Key Club), Nina Rodahaffer, Tory Fisher, Jorge Ruiz, Laura Ellis (Billy Goat Strut Revue), Andrew Sellers, Ray Rizzo, Cher Von, and more tba. In a conceit masterminded by the organizers, performers will be split into “teams” and battle it out on the stage.

Team Beck will be backed by Drew Miller’s Curio Key Club, who have been warming up over the past few months with their Beck shows at Zanzabar and NachBar. The band for Team Justin Timberlake will be helmed by Rizzo, musician/producer/engineer Kevin Ratterman, keyboardist Andrew Sellers and others tba.
