The Marlborough gallery presents the exhibition 'Watashi no kankyô' (Inside and Out), by Tadanori Yamaguchi, a Japanese artist who lives and works in Asturias, where he is surrounded by apple trees, oak trees, rivers... so his everyday life is intimately connected to the tradition of observing nature which is an inherent part of Japanese art. And that's where the name of the exhibition comes from, and from where Yamaguchi explores the connection between his interior 'I' and the exterior via 23 works that run from drawings to marble and granite sculptures.
