Fundación Mapfre

Right on the Paseo de Recoletos is the Mapfre Foundation, a space dedicated to exhibitions of all artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture and drawing. In May 2014 the Foundation inaugurated a new space in C/Bárbara de Braganza with 868 square metres distributed over two independent floors, and dedicated exclusively to photography exhibitions, with the goal of introducing visitors to the work of renowned contemporary photographers via a stable and consolidated programme. The best bit is that the exhibitions are always free.
