Time Out says

There have been rumours for quite some time about the creation of a new music festival in Madrid at the level of some of the bigger European festivals (or at least those in Barcelona). And this could be it. From June 16 o 18 it's the first edition of Mad Cool, featuring a total of five stages – three covered and two open-air – with chill-out zones and cultural activities.

The festival's big headliner is Neil Young, and it's also bringing in an eclectic group of rock, electronic and indie acts, including The Prodigy, Two Door Cinema Club, Jane’s Addiction, Bastille, John Grant, Band of Horses, Caribou, Capital Cities, Flume, Stereophonics, Kings Of Convenience, Django Django, Hercules & Love Affair, Milky Chance, Enter Shikari, Gary Clark Jr., Michael Kiwanuka, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Twin Atlantic, The Struts, The London Souls, Lucy Rose, Nothing But Thieves, Vetusta Morla, 091, Lori Meyers, L.A, Fuel Fandango, Angel Stanich and Corizonas.
